Friday night, storms weaken but straggling showers will linger into early Saturday. You’ll still have to be careful of areas of fog, lows will be in the 60s.

Saturday, there will be plenty of dry time but isolated showers and perhaps a thunderstorm will bubble up during the day. I wouldn’t cancel plans but if you’ve got outdoor stuff going on, keep an ear open for thunder. Meanwhile, highs will get into the low 80s.

Sunday, we finally get quiet and a little comfortable. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs dancing around 80°. Humidity will take a brief break too!

Don’t look now but we will get back into an unsettled pattern early next week. We’ll have a daily shot at showers and thunderstorms Monday to Wednesday with highs in the low 80s. Monday and Tuesday, rain will be isolated at worst. Most rain early in the week will be near the St. Lawrence Valley. Wednesday to Friday, that rain shifts back to the east through east New York, Vermont & New Hampshire. Meanwhile, mugginess comes up a bit but it won’t be as bad as earlier this week. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

The weekend is here!
