Good evening! I hope you had a great weekend, the weather I am sure helped! Plenty of sunshine, and fairly comfortable temperature wise. An area of high pressure has been providing us with calm weather, but, it’s on the move. Late tonight into early Monday morning snow will arrive from south to north. Good news, this shouldn’t be much of a problem maker for the morning commute. That being said, a few locations in the higher elevations of Bennington County & Windham County may see some slick areas.

During the afternoon hours, light snow will wrap up from north to south. Generally leaving a dusting to 2″ across northern New York, Vermont, & New Hampshire. Across central New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire you could expect 2-4″. The highest amounts will be found in Vermont’s southwest corner, expecting to receive 4+”. Clearly, this storm isn’t a ‘blockbuster’, but it will help clean the landscape, hiding all the dirty snow!

Monday, late evening, clouds and snow have wrapped up, and we are becoming mostly clear. Also, it will be pretty cold! Temperatures overnight will fall between 5° & -5°. Tuesday and Wednesday are near mirror images of one another, afternoon highs are in the low to middle 20s, and sunny. Though, late Wednesday afternoon clouds will return, along with our next chance of wintry precipitation.

Tonight: Becoming mostly cloudy, isolated snow north, with scattered snow south. Overnight low, upper single digits to lower teens. Wind: North 5-8mph.

Monday: More clouds than sunshine, with scattered light snow. Minor snow accumulations north, generally a dusting up to 2″ north. South of Rutland County and Windsor County you can expect 2-4″ for southern Vermont & the Upper Valley. Afternoon highs, the lower 20s. Wind: North 10-15mph.

Monday Night: Partial clearing, overnight lows fall to either side of 0°. Wind: Northwest 5-8mph.

Tuesday & Wednesday: Mixture of sunshine and a few clouds, otherwise quiet. Afternoon highs, the upper teens and lower 20s. Overnight lows, single digits to the middle teens.

Thursday: Snow, sleet, and rain… afternoon temperatures reach the upper 30s to the low 40s.

Have a great night!
