Weather: Sunny and Seasonable Friday (9/16)

Sunny and Seasonable Friday

Good morning and happy Friday!

After a very chilly start to Friday with areas of dense fog, we end the work week on a sunny and seasonable note. Temperatures reach the pleasant low 70s with a light southwest breeze. It’s shaping up to another gorgeous afternoon!

Tonight, expect mostly clear skies with a milder low temp in the low 50s to upper 40s. On Saturday, look for more sunshine early. However, clouds will increase from the northwest throughout the afternoon as a low pressure system nears. High temp, mid 70s.

Saturday evening and overnight into Sunday, a few showers or an isolated thunderstorm or two possible. Low temp, near 60 degrees. Sunday will be the soggier day this weekend with occasional rain expected under mostly cloudy skies.

Early next week, we hang onto high temps in the mid 70s, with partly sunny skies and a stray shower or two…especially across the higher terrain of the North Country.

Have a fantastic weekend!
