Scattered rain and thunderstorms will continue to gradually weaken and mostly end Friday night. There’s no worry of severe weather overnight but I can’t rule out a few lightning flashes. Meanwhile, overnight lows will only fall a few degrees into the upper 50s & low 60s. Be careful driving if you’re out late, there will be areas of fog that last through daybreak.
Over the weekend we’ll still have to dodge a few showers, especially Saturday, but there will also be plenty of dry times. Don’t cancel your plans but be prepared for a couple rain delays. The thunder threat is also rather low and severe weather isn’t a concern. Sunday’s rain will be very isolated. In fact, expect more sunshine than clouds Sunday afternoon….finally! If you’re wanting the warmth back, I’ve got good news, highs both Saturday and Sunday will dance around 80°. Thinking ahead to next week, we’ll keep scattered rain and a few storms around Monday and Tuesday with highs around 80-85°.
Enjoy your weekend!
