Two new homebrewers have been chosen as the finalists for the ‘The Make the Cut Homebrew Competition 2.’
Roland Maheux of Jericho is one of the finalists. He brewed a German Alt inspired beer. Casey Leahy, of Chester, is the other finalist, he brewed a Baltic Porter.
Now, the two finalists will brew a batch of their beer at 14th Star and the beers will be on tap at participating restaurants and bars for the public to taste and vote on. Then the winner, will be presented with $1,000 from Beverage Warehouse and will be invited to brew a production sized batch of their beer at 14th Star that will be distributed throughout the state.
The competition is a collaboration between Beverage Warehouse, 14th Star Brewing Co. and Farrell Distributing.
