Crews battled a fire in Champlain, N.Y. Friday night.

Officials tell Local 22 & Local 44 that no one was inside the building on Route 11 when the fire started.

Crews were called around 8 p.m. Five departments responded.  Firefighters were still on-scene at 11 p.m. working to put out hotspots.

Officials say the wind caused flames to spread, making it tough to work.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital.
