Yellow flowers of hope with the American Cancer Society

News

Spread a flower of hope to help in the fight against cancer. This year the American Cancer Society is relaunching its Daffodil Days campaign.

The goal is to deliver thousands of the yellow flowers, which are the symbol of hope and life, to people across the country, all to raise awareness of this deadly disease.

The American Cancer Society will be collecting orders through Feb 5. The flowers will be pickup and delivered the week of March 19.

You can order a bunch of daffodils for $10, one potted mini-daffodil plant for $15 or you can pay $25 and support the Gift of Hope program where volunteers deliver the flowers to a local hospital.

You can place an order with Jennifer Clark of the American Cancer Society at (802)-872-6323 or email jennifer.clark@cancer.org.

The funds raised from the Daffodil Days campaign will fund cancer research and treatment for cancer patients nationwide.
