Junior forward and reigning America East Player of the Year Anthony Lamb has decided to enter the 2019 NBA Draft as an early entrant.
“With the support of my coaches and family, I have decided to test the waters and declare as an early entrant for the 2019 NBA Draft. I’m looking forward to gathering feedback regarding the strengths and weaknesses of my game directly from NBA front offices. I intend to learn and improve during this process,” Lamb said in an official statement on Thursday.
Lamb was a pivotal part in the Catamounts’ America East title this season and NCAA Tournament appearance, and was also named an AP Honorable Mention All-American.
He can still withdraw from the NBA Draft if he decides to return for his senior season, and the deadline to do so is May 29.
