The playoffs are a new season for many teams. For #8 NJIT, coming into Vermont for the first round of the America East tournament, the Highlanders had nothing to lose. But Vermont on their home court of Patrick Gym dominated the opposition making 11 three-pointers and beating NJIT 84-57.
Vermont moves on to the semifinals to be played at Patrick Gym on March 7 against Binghamton.
