Norwich women’s hockey forward Amanda Conway claimed her second consecutive Division III MVP award from the New England Hockey Writers’ Association on Monday.

The junior is the first Cadet to win back-to-back Player of the Year honors in program history, and this award marked the third in a row for a Norwich player.

Conway led the nation in goals per game with 1.07 this season, and scored 30 tallies in 29 games played. She added 12 assists for a team-best 42 points this year.

Fellow junior forward Sophie McGovern was named to the Division III All-New England team, as were sophomore goalie Emily Lambert and sophomore defender Samantha Benoit.
