High school football preview: Milton Yellow Jackets

High school football is only two weeks away. We caught up with the Milton Yellow Jackets as they prepare for the 2019 season.

Milton was a strong playoff team in 2018, the Yellow Jackets made it to the division II semifinals but fell short against Burr & Burton.

Milton is only returning six seniors this fall but, even being a young team their eyes are on a state championship.

The team hit the practice field all week long to gear up for the upcoming season. Last year Milton went 6-4 overall. The Yellow Jackets are led by head coach Jim Provost. Although the team is mostly freshman and sophomores, they will be stepping up in upperclassmen spots two Friday’s from now.

In the video above you can hear from head coach Provost and seniors Damien & Evan Tinker.

The Yellow Jackets open things up on Friday, August 30 at 7 p.m. as they host the Colchester Lakers.
