A fresh start is exactly what the Mt. Abraham/Vergennes football team needs.
Part of that fresh start is the upcoming new season, and the other part is a new head coach. Jeff Stein comes to the program after serving as a defensive coordinator at Champlain Valley Union.
According to Stein, the Eagles practice every day from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. They use the pool, weight room, field, and even the gymnasium if it’s raining.
The players say the long practices are bringing them closer together and helping with team-building.
