The Raiders are opening up the 2019 season in just two days. The U-32 squad put in work behind the scenes for the past few weeks.

U-32 is led by head coach Brian Divelbliss, he has held the spot as head coach since 2011.

The Raiders went 5-4 in 2018 but, it’s a new season and that means a fresh start for the U-32 team.

Coach Divelbliss shared what he is looking for from his team this fall. “What we’re expecting from the guys this year is to go out there and have a lot of fun. We want to go out and obviously play good football, I think we’ll get that. Our guys are practicing hard. They’re picking up the new playbook really well. So, that’s looking like a positive” said Divelbliss.

Coach added what the preseason has been like so far. “It’s been awesome. We’ve had a lot of fun. We’ve had a lot of new faces in the program, a lot of people coming out that have never played football before” said Divelbliss.

Starting quarterback Nathan LaRosa added what he thinks of his team so far this season. “Gearing up for Friday night we’ve been working really hard. We’ve been out here battling through some heat but we’re looking really good. Guys are working hard. In the huddle the mentality is good, we’re not having to correct people on their work ethic which is awesome going into Friday” said LaRosa.
