The Vermont Lake Monsters closed out a series against the Brooklyn Cyclones on Friday night.
Vermont opened up a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning and increased it throughout. The Monsters rallied in ten runs total in the bottom of the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings.
The Lake Monsters ultimately won in a 13-6 final score against the Cyclones.
Vermont (28-33) finished the three-game series with 29 runs and 36 base hits.
The Lake Monsters will head to Aberdeen for another three-game series starting Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
Vermont returns home to Centennial next Thursday for a three-game series against the Lowell Spinners.
