Vermont found itself in a 2-0 deficit in the first inning, and then in a a 3-1 hole in the second inning.
The Monsters powered back with two six-run innings on their way to a 14-run night. Marcos Brito stayed consistent, going 3-5, while Payton Squier extended his hitting streak to nine games.
Alfonso Rivas proved to be a crucial contributor, producing four RBIs in a 1-4 outing. Anthony Churlin also batted in three runs.
The Lake Monsters improve to 7-6 on the season and the Brooklyn Cyclones drop to 9-4.
