The Lake Monsters used a late-game push to beat Brooklyn at Centennial Field on Thursday.
Vermont battled back to tie the game up in the sixth, and a Logan Davidson homer in the eighth propelled the Monsters to a 6-4 win.
Davidson, who is the Lake Monsters’ 2019 first-round pick, finished the day going 3-for-5 with three RBI’s in the win.
Vermont improves to 27-33, and will look for another series sweep in the finale against Brooklyn on Friday, August 16 at 7:05 p.m.
