Panthers stay perfect with win

The No. 2 Panthers built an early lead to handle the Lyons and get the victory at Dragone Field on Sunday.

Midd opened scoring in the seventh minute and led for the remainder of the game in the 2-1 win.

Junior forward Simone Ameer got the home team on the board first, and Quinn Rogers added another in the 25th minute.

Middlebury improved to 3-0-0 and earned its third win in five days. Next up, the Panthers travel to Plattsburgh State for a matchup with the Cardinals on Wednesday, 11 at 7 p.m.
