It was a couple days late, but the nine seniors on the Middlebury women’s lacrosse team finally got to have a graduation ceremony Tuesday morning.
“We feel so amazing that the school did this for us,” senior captain Emma McDonagh said.
These Panthers missed the usual graduation on May 26, because they were busy playing in (and winning) the women’s lacrosse national championship game.
“We were lucky enough that our freshman year we made it as well,” senior midfielder Casey O’Neill said. “We saw our seniors then miss graduation, happily so, and it was the same for us.”
