Middlebury field hockey, women’s soccer move on in NCAA’s

Middlebury field hockey shut out Keene State in an 8-0 second round win in NCAA tournament action Saturday afternoon at Kohn Field.

Erin Nicholas, the 2018 NESCAC Player of the Year, finished with two goals and two assists in the Panther victory.

Middlebury field hockey moves on to play TCNJ in the NCAA tournament regional final at Kohn Field Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Panther women’s soccer team shared in Saturday’s success with a 4-1 final over Maine-Farmington in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Eliza Robinson led the charge for the Panthers with one goal and two assists on the day.

Middlebury women’s soccer advances to the NCAA tournament regional final against Ithaca Sunday at 1 p.m. at Middlebury.
