Middlebury women’s lacrosse dominates Johnson & Wales

The Panthers cruised past the Wildcats in an NCAA Second Round matchup at Kohn Field on Sunday.

Midd exploded for 18 unanswered tallies and breezed to a 22-3 final, and an 18th consecutive win.

Ten different scorers got on the board for Middlebury, and freshman attacker Lily Riseburg led the way with five goals.

The Middlebury defense was equally impressive, and held a team to single-digit scoring for the 14th straight game.

Next up, Midd will host NESCAC rival Bowdoin in an NCAA Regional contest on Saturday, May 18.
