Middlebury women’s lax returns to NESCAC Championship

The Middlebury Panthers are the defending NESCAC women’s lacrosse champions. 

Today Midd hosted Amherst for the conference semifinals. The Panthers dominated over the Mammoths 11-5. 

Emma McDonagh put the Panthers on the board three minutes in. Emily Barnard led Midd in scoring with four goals and one assist. Middlebury entered the second half with a 6-1 lead over Amherst. 

Tomorrow No. 1 Middlebury will host No. 2 Tufts for the NESCAC Championship game. The game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. at Kohn Field.
