MMU completes second half comeback to take down Middlebury

The MMU Cougars hosted the reigning Division I state champions Middlebury for a matchup in Jericho on Wednesday. 

The Cougars hosted the final mental health awareness game of the season. 

Middlebury opened up scoring with a 1-0 lead. Shortly after, the lead increased to 5-1 with 13 minutes until halftime. 

The Cougars returned from half to score eight goals after a 7-3 deficit to power past the Tigers 12-11. The final goal was score with 1:30 remaining in the game.  

MMU will host senior day on Friday, May 24 as they host South Burlington. Middlebury will travel to Hinesburg and face CVU on Saturday, May 25 to close out the regular season.
