UVM hosts final game of season on Friday to celebrate senior night

Sports

The Vermont Catamounts will host UMass Lowell on Friday night for the final game of the season. UVM will honor three seniors prior to the game, Liam Couglin, Craig Puffer, and Conor O’neil. The Cats are 12-19-2 this season.

Head coach Kevin Sneddon shared some thoughts on the three players. “I think the guys, one of the commitments they made to eachother was to play for the seniors. Three great guys, three great young men have all contributed in great ways. Maybe Liam probably more from an offensive standpoint. We’re certaintly gonna miss these guys, as we do all our seniors. It’s been a group that’s been through some tough times the last couple years but, have all been positive and helped the younger players out in any way they possibly could. So, I’m very proud of them for that” said Sneddon.

Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. at Gutterson Fieldhouse.
