BURLINGTON, Vt. - Before the 2017-2018 season began, UVM and Men's Ice Hockey Coach Kevin Sneddon agreed to a new three-year contract, running through the 2019-2020 season.
Over the phone, UVM Athletic Director Jeff Schulman confirming the agreement with Sports Director Erin Cofiell. Schulman noting that while the contract is not yet fully executed, the University will honor their commitment despite struggles this season, adding that they make contractual decisions based on the body of work, not just one season. The Catamounts reached the quarterfinal round each of the last two seasons, including tallying a 20-13-5 record in 2016-2017.
UVM Men's Hockey currently holds a 4-12-3 record going into Friday nights game at UMass-Lowell.
