Vermont held a groundbreaking ceremony outside Gutterson Fieldhouse on Saturday to celebrate the start of the project.

Key aspects of the plan is the creation of a new home for UVM basketball in the Tarrant Center, renovations to Gutterson and the addition of a shared space between the structures.

While construction is set to begin this upcoming week, the project isn’t anticipated to be fully completed until sometime during the 2021-22 athletic season.
