UVM women’s basketball announces head coach


Former interim head coach Alisa Kresge has officially been named head coach of the Vermont women’s basketball team.

UVM Director of Athletics announced the decision at a press conference on Monday in Patrick Gym, followed by remarks from Kresge herself.

Kresge served as an associate head coach for the UVM squad from 2016-18 and the interim last season.

She is signed on to lead the Catamounts in the role over the next four seasons.

Prior to UVM, Kresge was an assistant coach at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She also played point guard at Marist from 2003-07.
