Vermont men’s hockey returns to the Bay State for the second straight weekend for a Hockey East series against UMass Lowell. The Catamounts are coming off of a 0-2 series against #1 UMass Amherst last weekend.

UVM and UMass Lowell meet for the 50th time in series history tomorrow. The Riverhawks hold an 8-1-1 record against Vermont in the last 10 meetings.

The Cats shared what they need to do to come out on top this weekend.

“Compete level, playing together as a team in all areas. Everyone has to up it, everybody has to do their job better. We can’t worry about what somebody else’s job is, or trying to do too much. Just do your job as well as you possibly can. As a coach, that’s all you can ask” said Head Coach Kevin Sneddon.

“Our D-Zone is really focused on getting things shut down as quickly as we can. If that doesn’t happen we kindof run around. If we shut things down we’ve got to be abkle to transition up the ice, get some offense and more shots for sure” said Sophomore Forward Max Kaufman.

Friday’s puck drop begins at 7:15 p.m. Saturday’s game begins at 7:05 p.m. Both games will stream through GoRiverHawks.tv ($).
