Vermont men’s lacrosse prepares for home opener

The Vermont men’s lacrosse team is hosting Holy Cross Saturday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m.

The Cats are so far 1-1 on the season. UVM took down Utah for the first game of the season followed by a loss to Navy last week. The Catamounts will host Holy Cross for a non-conference game this weekend at Virtue Field.

Head coach Chris Feifs shared what he expects from his team this weekend.

“There’s been a wide variety of things we’ve worked on this week. It almost feels like we haven’t had enough time. Holy Cross is a tough opponent in the Patriot league and we know they’re capable of really exploding for a lot of goals and making things happen. So, with our group we’re tightening up our own details and hopefully we can play better than we did against Navy” said Chris Feifs.
