UVM took down Norwich in a commanding 78-28 win inside Patrick Gym on Thursday night.
The Cats closed out the second quarter leading by just seven, but exploded for a 13-0 run to start the second en route to outscoring the Cadets 24-5 in the quarter.
Five Catamounts reached double-digit point totals, led by senior forward Courtney Wright’s career-high 17. Wright also picked up 11 boards for the first double-double of her UVM career.
Vermont freshman guards Sarah Wells and Nicole Crum both racked up career highs of their own with 11 points a piece.
The 2-1 Cats continue the long home stretch against Rhode Island on Sunday at 2 p.m.
