The No. 1 Wildcats did not disappoint as the top seed in Centennial Field against No. 3 Vergennes on Saturday.
WRV jumped out to a lead in the first inning, but Vergennes posted five in the fourth to go ahead.
The next lead change turned out to be the last, as White River Valley piled it on in the fifth and shut down the Commodores for the 9-5 victory.
