A few showers moseyed through the region early Tuesday, but otherwise, it wasn’t a terrible day with many seeing some evening sunshine.
A quiet evening is on tap, but showers will arrive by early Wednesday and continue for much of the day. These showers and thunderstorms will feature heavy rain with flash flooding a possibility. Keep the rain jacket and umbrella handy.
Heres how the next few days are shaping up:
Tonight: Increasing clouds with temperatures falling to the upper 60’s to low 70’s
Wednesday: Rain showers arrive by morning, with off and on heavy downpours throughout the day with an embedded thunderstorm or two. Temps climb to the upper 70’s to low 80’s with dewpoints in the 70’s.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a few scattered showers. Less humid. Mid 80’s
Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, some on the stronger side with gusty winds and heavy rain. Sticky with temps in the low 90’s and dewpoints in the 70’s
Saturday: Afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Sticky with temps in the low 90’s and dewpoints in the 70’s
Sunday: Mostly sunny. Few showers. Upper 80s.
