After a Saturday filled with plenty of sunshine, showers and thunderstorms are currently rumbling through parts of Ottawa Canada and heading towards our neck of the woods.
They’re associated with a cold front that is currently sinking south, but by the time it reaches the international border, it will be well after dark, and storms will have lost much of their steam.
That being said the chance for a few scattered showers and a rumble of thunder or two is not out of the question.
As that cold front sinks south so do the chances for showers, as Sunday morning arrives, well just be left with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Sunday will be a mix of sun and clouds, with a few stray rain showers especially over the NEK, otherwise, it’s a dry day.
Here is how the rest of the week is shaping up:
Saturday Night: Showers and a few rumbles of thunder. Mid 60’s
Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds. Mid to upper 70’s
Monday: Mostly Sunny. Mid 80’s
Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy. Mid 80’s
Wednesday: Afternoon showers and storms. Upper 80’s
