After a soggy and rumbly Thursday night, quieter weather takes hold for the weekend. We welcome back sunshine, but the warmth and mugginess stick around.
Friday morning brings us ample cloud cover as we await an approaching cold front. Once that front slides through slowly today, southerly flow turns northwesterly (light at the surface, just 5-10 mph). As that happens, clouds will begin to peel back, allowing for breaks of afternoon sunshine. Unfortunately, it remains muggy though the temp only reaches the upper 70s to low 80s. Partly cloudy tonight with a low in the 60s.
Saturday is mostly sunny, though clouds trickle back in during the afternoon. Look for a high in the low to mid 80s with a light south wind. Saturday night, a few showers dive south out of southern Quebec, particularly over northern Vermont. 60s. Sunday, mix of sun and clouds. Upper 70s.
Have a marvelous weekend!
