After a warm, muggy Wednesday where a south breeze and breaks of afternoon sun sent temperatures soaring into the 80s, cooler weather follows for the close of the workweek. Temps tonight tumble into the low 50s under a cloudy sky. Clouds are still around by daybreak Thursday and don’t slowly clear until the afternoon. Another weak disturbance scoots by in the morning to bring some additional light rain between sunrise and midday. Mid to upper 60s tomorrow afternoon with a north breeze of 5-15 mph.
Thursday night, under a finally clear sky, the temp will drop into the 40s, with some upper 30s and patchy frost possible through colder pockets of the Adirondacks and Northeast Kingdom. Friday, we’re basking in the late Summer sunshine with a high in the low 70s. South wind 5-15 mph. Clouds increase Friday afternoon and evening, as rain returns in the form of scattered showers after midnight and throughout much of Saturday. Mid 70s. Partly sunny by Sunday, low to mid 70s still.
Have a great night!
