Despite a gorgeous, Fall-like Monday, temps and humidity increase towards midweek along with rain chances. Let’s break it down.
Tonight – Mostly clear with patchy fog possible by daybreak. Temps fall into the 40s, or even upper 30s, with a light and variable wind.
Tuesday – We start off the day with sun, but clouds increase throughout the day. Rain rolls off the St. Lawrence River Valley late in the afternoon and spreads Tuesday evening across northern New York and into Vermont and Hampshire overnight into Wednesday. A few rumbles of thunder are possible. Milder, near 60 degrees.
Wednesday – More clouds than sun with periods of showers. Occasional thunder is possible, though it’s not a big day for strong thunderstorms. Upper 70s to near 80 degrees with a dewpoint in the upper 60s means it’s muggy, muggy, muggy. Yikes! Rainfall totals of 0.25-0.75″ are expected. South wind, shifting to out of the northwest as rain ends in the afternoon at 10 mph.
Thursday – Mostly sunny. Upper 60s.
Friday – Partly sunny. Low 70s.
Have a great night!
