Midweek is everything our weather has not been lately…warm, muggy and well, okay maybe we have been wet lately. Showers and t’storms return Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Tuesday evening, showers spread from west to east as a warm front rolls through. That warm air along with a breezy south wind of 10-20 mph and a blanket of cloud cover keeps us milder tonight with temps bottoming out in the low 60s. There will be a lull in the rain early Wednesday, but by the afternoon a cold front follows and brings a second round of scattered showers, plus a few t’storms to the region. There isn’t a big threat for strong to severe thunderstorms, just a few rumbles of thunder, downpours and lightning strikes. Near 80 degrees tomorrow and still breezy.
The cold front cruises by in the afternoon, leaving us with a slowly clearing sky overnight into Wednesday. The temp falls to the 50s, then only recovers to the upper 60s Thursday afternoon under a sunny sky. It’s low 70s and still very quiet on Friday. Showers return Saturday.
Have a great night! Stay dry!
