Notice anything different on your morning walk or bike ride? It’s warmer and more humid. Unfortunately, mugginess is on the rise today, as is the chance you run into a shower or thunderstorm.
Clouds increase Thursday morning, but most remain dry outside a few showers through southern Quebec or eastern New York. This afternoon, as the temp reaches the low to mid 80s with a dewpoint temperature nearing 70° (yuck) scattered showers and thunderstorms bubble up. That convection lingers into tonight, with periods of heavy rain and strong wind gusts possible.
After midnight, the front sparking all this activity moves off to the east, but low and mid-level moisture remains, keeping us cloudy into Friday with a few showers. 60s overnight, then near 80° tomorrow. Clouds should finally give way to breaks of blue sky by late afternoon into the evening.
Mostly sunny Saturday, though an isolated evening shower two shouldn’t be ruled out entirely. Low to mid 80s. Upper 70s for Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds, along with a couple showers.
Have an awesome day!
