Weather: Quiet midweek, then showers return (8/14/2019 AM)

Good morning!

Great weather incoming! Look for a mix of sun and clouds Wednesday and Thursday, both, with highs in the 70s. Passing clouds may leave a few sprinkles over higher terrain, but most are dry. Mostly clear with patchy fog in between Wednesday night. Lows, upper 40s to mid 50s.

Late Thursday, clouds increase as the first of several weekend waves arrives. Scattered showers, along with an isolated afternoon t’storm or two, should be expected daily Friday to Monday. It’s not a washout, but we’ve certainly had drier weekends and you may be occasionally ushered inside by those pesky (but needed) raindrops. The timing of those waves will be worked out in the next few days as weather models come into better agreement. Near 80 degrees.

We are your official forecast for the 1st ever CycleNation event taking place in Burlington Thursday. Mother Nature is cooperating!

Have a great Wednesday!
