After hitting the high 80s & low 90s on Friday, our sunny and ‘hot’ streak ends over the weekend. Late Friday night, a weak batch of showers will spin through. Rain will be generally light but it’ll feel a bit muggy with lows in the low 60s. Showers with isolated thunder will stick around through Sunday evening. There will be periodic dry time to get stuff done but don’t count on a full dry day; highs will jump into the middle & upper 70s. Sunday, showers, clouds and a northwest wind keep things much cooler than the last few days, highs will barely reach 70°!
Monday, we rebound nicely under lots of sun and highs around 80°. Tuesday, scattered showers return but highs stay the course in the upper 70s & low 80s.
Wednesday is July 3rd and Burlington is planning a big fireworks show at the waterfront! Apart from an isolated light shower during the day, it’ll be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s. As the sun goes down, temperatures will gradually fall into the 70s by fireworks time. As of now, you can lock in a similar, mainly dry and warm set up for the 4th. Keep your plans!
Have a great weekend!
