Weather: July making up for wet spring (7/9/2019 AM)

Tuesday July 9th

Good morning!

After a wet, chilly spring, it seems as though Mother Nature is making it up to us with a dry, warm July. There are more 80+° days ahead with tons of Vitamin D.

Tuesday is mostly sunny, though some haze may fill in from smoky wildfires in western and central Canada. The temp reaches into the low to mid 80s this afternoon with a light west or south wind, just 5-10 mph. Tonight, mostly clear. Mid 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday, expect another sunny day with a high in the 80s, though a bit more humidity is on tap. A few afternoon clouds pop up, but rain holds off until late Thursday. Clear Wednesday night. Low to mid 60s.

Thursday brings more clouds and a few late morning to mid afternoon showers. However, Thursday evening into the night, expect more numerous showers and a few downpours or thunderstorms. Low to mid 80s. Friday, we’re still a bit soggy, dodging those showers under more clouds than sun. Low 80s. Quieter by the weekend.

Have a terrific day!
