Hope you had a nice weekend! While thunderstorms disrupted some Sunday afternoon plans, the rain was welcomed by many. We’re fairly steamy early this work week, but relief from the humidity arrives with the new month.
Monday – Areas of dense fog kick off the morning with visibility falling less than 1/4 mile at times for the morning commute. Once that fog dissipates by mid to late morning, it’s mostly sunny with a top temp in the mid 80s to upper 80s, even nearing 90 degrees in broad valleys. With a dewpoint in the mid 60s, we’re all sweating in this late July sauna. Light south wind 5-10 mph. Most remain dry, but a spot shower or t’storm is possible.
Tonight – Partly cloudy and uncomfortably warm for most sleeping with the windows open. The temp only dips into the mid 60s to around 70 degrees.
Tuesday – Clouds increase today as a cold front approaches from the northwest. The afternoon brings scattered showers and thunderstorms with the chance for a strong to severe storm or two. Still quite warm, upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
Wednesday – Temps start out between approximately 65-70 degrees again, but only climb to the low 80s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Expect scattered showers as that front slowly advances through the region, finally clearing the Upper Valley by Wednesday evening.
Thursday to Sunday – A dry stretch takes us into the new month. Near 80 daytime highs, around 60 nighttime lows. Mostly to partly sunny.
Have an awesome Monday!
