For those of you feeling waterlogged, the rain will slowly slide off to the east today. But, good news, the heat relief sticks with us as the temp struggles to reach beyond the 70s.
An additional 0.5″ or so total rain is possible in far southern Vermont and throughout the Connecticut River Valley today, with generally 0.1-0.25″ in central Vermont and New Hampshire, to just a few hundredths of an inch in northern counties. The temp inches from the 50s and 60s in the morning into the 70s this afternoon with a light northwest wind. Northern New York and the Champlain Valley may find some sun this afternoon as clouds begin to peel back.
Tonight, partly cloudy with a low temp in the 50s. Beautiful weather is on the way Wednesday. Ample sunshine is framed by a handful of fair weather afternoon clouds. The temp stalls in the low to mid 70s with a light north wind. It doesn’t get much better than this in late July! Temps moderate through the rest of the week, reaching into the mid and upper 80s by the weekend. Daily, look for tons of sun, but also expect an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm.
Have a great day!
