Weather: Showers and storms wrap up as drier air moves in

Impressive showers and storms this evening across the area. Many storms produced heavy rain and gusty winds, both in Windham County and Washington county along Route 2

Looking ahead to Thursday, we’ll see a few leftover showers early, but that will give way to partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80’s.

Friday brings with it the slightest chances for a brief shower along the international border, otherwise, it’s a dry day with partly cloudy skies.

Heres how the rest of the week is shaping up:

Tonight: A few showers and a rumble of thunder or two. Mid 60’s

Thursday – Partly sunny. Scattered showers and a few storms. Low 80s.

Friday – Partly Sunny. Slight chance spot shower. Upper 70s.

Saturday – Mix of sun & clouds. Slight chance spot shower. Upper 60s to mid 7s.

Sunday – Mix of sun & clouds. Slight chance spot shower. Mid 70s.
