It was a bit of a surprise slippery evening, with moderate snow falling across northern zones. On the bright side, road conditions were awful (with the exception of the mountain passes) thank to above freezing road temperatures.

We’re in for a busy Saturday, with 2 round of rain coming our way.

We’re waking up to the first batch of downpours but by lunchtime we’re finding some sunshine (and temps in the 60s) Our next batch of downpours moves towards sunset with gusty winds and a few rumbles of thunder!

It’s going to be a breezy day, with most folks finding wind gusts to 30 mph. The exception is parts of Clinton and Franklin county, where a southwest winds could bring gusts to 50 mph!

Our rivers will be running high and fast, but only minor flooding is forecasted. The biggest issue will be some field flooding possible around some of our area rivers.

Have a great weekend!
