After a cold start to the day temperatures are warming up quickly into the 30’s under mostly sunny skies. Through the afternoon clouds begin to filter in as our next system approaches from the west.
This storm certainly isn’t one for the record books… but the timing is less than ideal as folks head home for Thanksgiving.

Here’s what you need to know:
Travel will be tough from Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning. The combination of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will make a mess on the roads… certainly travel isn’t impossible, but it’ll take you some extra time to get where you’re going.

My recommendation: Either leave early Tuesday afternoon, or wait until early Wednesday afternoon to hit the road.
No matter when or where you travel this Thanksgiving, please get there safely!
