After a dry morning, our next storm system is overspreading the region, falling mostly as rain, with a bit of wintry mix is possible for eastern Vermont making for a couple of slick spots after sunset.

Temperature will warm overnight, and widespread rain continues into Saturday morning. We’re breezy Saturday and there may be a brief break in the action late morning, before more showers and heavy downpours roll in for the afternoon. Temperatures near the 60 degree mark.
