It’s a chilly start to Wednesday, with may spots finding readings in the single digits and teens! We’re also starting off the day with a few breaks of blues sky, but that’s not lasting long as our next system approaches from the west, with snow overspreading the region during the afternoon and evening.

We start of with a heavy burst of snow which makes for some tough evening travel, before transitioning to pockets of sleet and freezing rain after midnight.

Snowfall totals range from 4-8″ in the Champlain Valley and Northeast Kingdom, to 8-12″ or more in the higher elevations.
