An outgoing upper level disturbance will eventually give way to a large area of high pressure for the first half of the weekend. These weather features will likely result in a decrease in cloud cover, an increase in temperatures, and dry weather all around.

This morning, dense fog is gripping the forecast in many communities so please be sure to slow down and take it easy. Temperatures are in the 50s and 60s with low humidity, as well. It’s a very comfortable start to the day.

Our afternoon will offer up more sunshine, highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, and light and variable winds. Dew point temperatures will remain comfortable too, so make it a point to get outdoors to enjoy the fresh air.

Friday, high pressure will move directly overhead. That will result in full blown sunshine and maybe a cloud or two. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 80s with a wind shift out of the south. That means a slight uptick in humidity through the end of the work week and upcoming weekend, but it will remain dry.

A sneak peek at the weekend forecast shows continued sunshine through Saturday. Temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 80s making it the warmest day of the weekend. Sunday, temperatures will manage the upper 70s to low 80s as a few more clouds build in ahead of a cold front for early next week.
