Weather: Storms weaken tonight, quiet tomorrow (6/18/2018)

Planner for Tuesday June 19 2018

Storms will continue to weaken Monday night and the rain will end as we go toward early Tuesday. In the meantime, be careful of flooding and other debris that may be in the road.  After midnight, the rain ends from north to south. As it wraps up you’ll notice humidity dropping steadily by sunrise; lows will be in the upper 50s & low 60s. All of this sets the stage for a beautiful day Tuesday!

After some stubborn clouds early, skies will continue to clear and we’re mostly sunny through Tuesday afternoon. Highs will struggle a bit behind a breezy north wind (10-15mph), but there likely won’t be many complaints with highs in the low to mid 70s. Wednesday will be a stunner of a day under lots of sun and highs around 80°. Wednesday night, a weak front drives through bringing a small chance at showers and cooler air for the first day of summer. The summer solstice happens Thursday and it’ll be gorgeous! Expect lots of afternoon sun and highs in the low to mid 70s.

Pleasant summer weather continues Friday and Saturday with lots of sun, highs in the low 80s and comfy humidity levels. Another front brings a round of rain with embedded thunder by Sunday.

Have a great week!
