Happy Monday! Hopefully you had a good weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather on Sunday. On Monday we had another day of great summer weather with highs climbing into the upper 70s and low 80s under abundant sunshine. Dewpoints were downright refreshing in the 40s & 50s. That weather perfection looks to continue for at least the next few days. That includes Monday night, leave the windows open and let some fresh air in! Lows will fall into the mid and upper 50s with clear skies overhead.
Tuesday, another winner! Sunshine will stick around with high temperatures a tad warmer than Monday, we’ll make it into the mid 80s. Remember, average for early July is about 80°. Luckily the humidity will remain very manageable with dewpoints inching higher into the 50s. Tuesday night plans are a go under a cloudless starry sky. Temps will be falling into the low and mid 60s, it’s safe to keep windows open! Wednesday, we keep it going with lots of sunshine and temperatures climbing a little more into the mid & upper 80s. Meanwhile, dewpoints remain in check but they’re starting to get noticed.
All good, comfy things must come to an end. Thursday we wake up under mostly clear skies but the clouds will begin to thicken up as we work through the day. Temperatures get back into the mid 80s and you’re going to really notice the stickiness; dewpoints will climb close to 70°. That is almost tropical and most definitely air conditioning weather. Thursday night, clouds are here and showers will commence through Friday morning. It’ll be an uncomfortable night of sleeping with lows in the 60s to near 70°. Showers will likely continue during the first part of Friday but the mugginess stays with us through the evening; highs will ‘only’ make it into the low 80s.
The good news here is that we clear things out for the weekend. While it won’t be cooler, it will be less humid. Friday night we’ll watch dewpoints drop into the low 60s and we’ll carry that airmass through the weekend. It won’t be super refreshing but it’ll certainly make it more tolerable to be outside. Meanwhile, highs both days will be in the low to mid 80s. At this point Saturday looks dry before we get clipped by some showers on Sunday.
Enjoy your week!
